Updates πŸ’™πŸ’—

I haven't posted about the kiddos lately so let's take a peek at what the latest is with each of them. We will start with my big.

My sweet Nolie boy. Five years old has brought out the wild in him. He is still our super sweetheart and timid with new things, but at home is a different story. This boy will go, go, go all day long. Normally you can find him running from the living room to kitchen and back working on his slides and dives, hanging out with daddy for the summer, doing science experiments, riding his scooter or bike, watching Paw Patrol or playing baseball on the wii. Thankfully he plays it on here instead of having daddy pitch in the house now. Who am I kidding? I know they still do it in the house awhile I am at work...

Nolan still loves to wear jerseys and would dress in a full baseball uniform all summer long if we let him wear high socks and baseball pants out in this heat. He sleeps with his two favorite stuffed animals "pup" and "peanut butter" every night. His favorite foods consist of Mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, yogurt and donuts. Nolan is having the best summer, but he is super excited for Kindergarten and we are just as excited to watch how much he is going to grow this upcoming school year!!

And now my little.

Oh Maddie girl. This one is something else. Maddie has quite the little personality, facial expressions and voice. Girlfriend is loud. She does not let anyone take anything from her *cough, cough Nolan trying to steal whatever toy she has*. Then again, she loves to play with everything that is Nolan's. She loves to copy everything, whether she tries to say words or mimicks one of us yawning, she copies. Speaking of words, she is doing really well with getting new words. Her favorite is "hi" and she says it to everyone, over and over! She likes to point to her head and say "bow bow" even though she rips them out the minute we put them in her hair, and will ask for "wawa" - water, "milk", "eat", "boos" - blueberries, "more", "duh" - all done, "ball". She says "mama", "dada", "nol", "yayee" - Lainy, "dog" and I am sure I am forgetting more!

Maddie still loves to put everything in her mouth and she thinks it is hilarious. She loves when you tickle her toes. She knows where her belly, nose, cheeks, mouth, head, toes and eyes are. She loves to say "cheeeee" - cheese when we take her picture. Maddie bug has recently started to walk more. Before it was just a few steps here and there, but this past week she has really started to take off. Maddies favorite foods are blueberries, chicken, cheese and animal crackers. She still has 6 teeth!

That's the latest on my big and little. And now, we are off to the beach! πŸ–

Our Happy Fourth! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

We look forward to the 4th of July every year! Celebrating America all day long with family and friends. It's a long day, but one of the best for sure!

We kickstarted our day with the parade, went to my dads for some sprinkler, moonbounce and cookout fun and finished the day cuddled up on a blanket watching the fireworks!

Somehow Madelyn made it through the entire day on 1 small car nap and was in awe by the fireworks. Seriously, it was the cutest thing watching her point at them and say "woah" every time she saw them!

We spent the 4th with my dad, sister, in-laws, Hastings family and Kennedy family! It was a blast and I love that we have turned it into a tradition to get together every year to celebrate!! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ❤️πŸ’™

Ready for the parade in the scorching heat!
